Don't you just love prayer? It is our direct access to the living, loving God Almighty. Wow! I am so thankful for prayer.
Several years ago, my husband was in a severe car accident. As we journeyed through his hospital stay and then his three months of recuperation at home, I wondered time and time again, "What do people do if they don't pray? How do non-believers function when crisis strikes?" Prayer carried me through those difficult days. I'm not just talking about my own prayers; I'm talking about the prayers that other people lifted up on behalf of my family and me.
If you'll read the comments in the post below, you'll see that Trevor posted a prayer request for his dad. I just spoke with Trevor, and I know he would appreciate your prayers for his family. His dad will be having surgery on Monday.

hey dude i read all the comments before posting my own so no worries trev my entire family said a huge prayer (rosary) for you guyzez so yeah man i feel for ya. i understand if i dont see ya tomorrow, and if anyone asks i,ll cover for ya man.
