Using Transitional Phrases

Transitional phrases are an important element in your writing. Words and phrases such as although, in fact, in a similar way, and on the other hand help move your reader from idea to idea and from point to point. Your writing will flow more easily using these words to help it along.

A complete listing of transitional phrases is available by clicking here.

Transitional phrases will be discussed in class on Tuesday, October 9.
