THE PRESENTATION FACTOR

Students,

Aaron asked for a reminder about the cover sheet for a final paper, and since many of you may have the same question, below are the requirements for the presentation of a final paper in our class.

Final Papers:

All final papers must have a cover sheet.

Include your name on each page.

All final papers must be typewritten. No excuses. If you turn in a final paper that is not typewritten, I will hand it back to you.

LATE PAPERS: There will be a 25% deduction from your grade for each week you are late.

Use Times New Roman font, size 12 or 14, and double space throughout.

Adhere to assigned word count for each paper.

PAPER CLIP your rough draft BEHIND your final paper.

Your cover sheet needs to look like this:

CENTER YOUR VERY CATCHY TITLE

22 LINES DOWN FROM A ONE-INCH MARGIN IN ALL CAPS

Six lines down type your name

Writing: Basics and Beyond

Mrs. Powell

The time of your class—11:00 A.M. or 1:00 P. M.

Since Aaron now holds the title as the first young gentleman to comment on this site, he gets the M&Ms this week. Plain, dark, or peanut, Aaron? Let me know.

Thank you Mrs. Powell, I appreciate the M&M's. I am just a plain ole Joe, so I would prefer the plain M&Ms please. Thank you very much.
