I forgot to give you some information yesterday that you need to know about the oral presentation of your paper. Please read, and then comment on this post so that I know you have read it.
- With our small class size, everyone will read his/her paper aloud. The entire thing. Yes. We have plenty of time and it will be a great learning experience for us all.
- You will need to bring your paper to class ready to turn in. You also need to bring a Maxwell.
- A Maxwell is a reading copy of the paper. This is simply an additional copy to read from, so that you can turn your completed research paper folder in at the beginning of class and not have to worry about it. Also, it is easier to read from a few sheets of paper than from a huge folder. :)
- Keep this in mind when reading: We all love each other in our class. No one is scary or mean, so don't be afraid. Try to read with enthusiasm and energy. Look at us occasionally. Smile. This is not meant to be painful. :)
- To make this even less painful, you have the opportunity to earn UP TO an extra 25 points just for reading your paper aloud. Now, UP TO means that you could possibly gain 25 points. If you do an excellent, stupendously remarkable reading, you will get 25 points. If you mumble your way through it, you might get 5. So how many points you get is entirely up to YOU. Practice and do your best. Capeesh?

Hey!
I hope y'all had fun yesterday...I sure did! It was pretty cool down at the capital...I feel kinda wierd having lived here since I was four and I have never walked downtown :/ Of course, we sat in the giant auditorium for about three or four very long hours listening to the longwinded speakers, but afterwards was fun.
Well, our assignments don't look too bad, and I will see y'all next week! :D
agghhh i have a lootttt of work to do this week and i am going to be glad when this week is over!! Its so strange how this school year has just flown by... good luck everybody and see you next week!

The final is due next week. I totally forgot about the oral presentation. Now I feel nervous, but everything will work out in the end.
We have only five classes left. School is almost over. It feels like just yesterday we were introducing ourselves on the first day.

okay... i did not see another post for this week so therefore, i shall comment on this one... i am late in posting but better late than never. i am so glad to have that research paper behind me!! haha see you guys tuesday
