HOW TO LEAVE A COMMENT

(This post is especially for Jo Bo, not to be confused with Joe Fro, in the 1 pm class. The rest of y'all could go by "Ty Bo, Kay Lo, and Em Lo." Btw, I'm sorry that I forgot to take a picture of you people today. Wear something gray or red and I will take it next week.)

  • Left click on comments. (It might say "0 comments" or "3 comments." Just click.)
  • A new screen pops up. To the right it says, "Leave a comment." This is your intention, so don't get distracted. :)
  • Write something amusing or interesting, or ask a question. You may even leave a comment just to say, "Hey, Mrs. P!"
  • Now it says "Choose an identity." (Wow. That is a teenager's life. That sounds like a good paper title!)
  • If you click on "Name/URL," a box comes up where you can simply put in "Jo Bo." You may leave the URL box blank.

Try this and see if it works!

I'm the first one to leave a comment(I think)! Yeah! That's all. This comment has no point.

Hey Mrs. P.!! :)

The questions begin again.....

Okay now on sentence worksheet #2, you said to write down the part of speech of the first word in the sentence. How specific should I be when it comes to that? I mean do I just put noun, or do I need to put pronoun?

Hey Mrs. P! One quick question... is a hyphonated word considered one or two words? Just wondering!

*Em lo*

Hey me again! Sorry but I don't think my comment published!! Oh well, i'll just ask my question again... is a hyphonated word one or two words? That's it(again)! I hope this one works:)

*Em lo*

Kay Lo,

Be specific. Here are the eight parts of speech:

Verb
Noun
Pronoun
Adjective
Adverb
Preposition
Interjection
Conjunction

Em Lo,

If it's hyphenated, count it as one word!

Good questions!

I'm confused about the name changing thing. Does that mean you want me to go by "lo lo" instead?

Rebecca Ingram Powell said...

Hi Logan,

Actually, the name thing is specific to the 1pm class. There are only five of them, and since I forgot to take their picture yesterday, I didn't want them to feel neglected.

For the record, however, if I were you, I would choose Lo Go over Lo Lo.

Oh, never mind. Forget I said anything. No, I'll not change it.

Do you have a preferred format for the title page of the final papers?
