Hello Students!

Just quickly trying to do some blogging from the "Internet Cafe" here at the LifeWay Kids Conference. I haven't even gotten to the vacation part yet but I am LOVING this conference! I'll try to answer your questions right quick!

Book reviews do not have a paragraph count.
Book reviews must be turned in in FINAL FORM on Tuesday. No particular word count, just do a good job!
Kay lo, you can definitely pick and choose sides as we go along in the discussion; that is not a problem! As for the number of pages, go with the very last number that you see! Don't count beyond that. (Number of pages is not supposed to be a trick question!:) )

Holly, your paper that you are turning in since you were out for vacation must be five paragraphs.

I have to run now!

Hi Mrs.P!
Should the book reviews be double- spaced?

Lauren,

YES! Double-space always--otherwise I can't write in between the lines!

Mrs. P, I got 20 pts docked off my book review because I had 4 paragraphs and not 5, but here it says that there is no final paragraph count. I don't remember what the handout said, but I was going by the Blog.

Logan,

You know, I was doing that post quite hurriedly from the conference where I was, and what I meant was "word count" not "paragraph count." I see how that could be confusing.

Ultimately, the sheet that you were given stated everything plainly as to how I wanted the book reviews done. I personally do not want to change your grade for that reason. I believe the handouts always override the blog when it comes to directions, unless otherwise stated. If there is a discrepancy between something on the blog and something on paper, the time to ask about it is immediately!

What do you think? I'm willing to talk about this with you.
