Hey I just thought I would drop in and say hey and that Im going to send my Works Cited page sometime today. And as for a thoughtful comment...the best thing I could tell someone is...Be Like Gandhi.See everybody tuesday.
Nathan,
I have been in East Tennessee over the weekend, leading a ladies' conference! It was a great trip! I also got to see my adorable nephew who is a freshman at UT-Chattanooga.
Tyler J.,
Here's an interesting quote from your man Ghandi:
"I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ."
In many ways, Ghandi had it pegged with that statement.
Mrs. P
And I would also add that it would be my encouragement to everyone to be like Jesus.
Ghandi didn't die for us.
Jesus did.
Mrs. P
Gandhi didn't die for the world, but he did end up dying for his country. I don't have heroes or believe in them, but if I had to have one, Gandhi would be it.

Mrs. P is back so let the questions begin!
Q1: Okay, so Fcs stands for Family and Consumer Sciences which is plural, but FCS kinda seems singular. Do I say "FCS is" or "FCS are?"
Q2: When I use a quote from a book, do I have to say what book it was from, or will the endnote be sufficient?
Q3: Are the titiles of the sections included in the word count? For instance: my section titles are 19 words. Are those 19 words included in the 1500/1800 wrods?
Q4: Do we have to have our cover sheet tomorrow?
Forgot...
Q5: What exactly do we have to turn in tomorrow? The draft, along with endnotes, along with.....
Wait..I thought Ghandi was assassinated?...
Okay, just noticed that we do have to have a cover sheet. sorry! I'm having such a blonde morning. :P
Hey Mrs. P!! I'm so glad your back!! Hope your trip went well!!!
Wow, I am wearing this post out. So, when I quote Bible, do I need an endnote saying "KJV Bible" or what?
Q5: The draft with endnotes.
Kay lo,
Q1: When you use the whole thing spelled out, go with plural. When you are just using FCS, go with singular.
Q2: The endnote is sufficient, as long as it still flows in the body of your paper. There may be instances where you want to introduce the quote by saying, "Author Soandso says, "blah blah blah." And then endnote it.
Q3: Do not include titles in your word count if it helps you. Do include titles in your word count if it helps you.
Q4: You do have to have the cover sheet tomorrow.
I feel loved!
Mrs. P
Kay lo,
Hang on to this question and I'll answer how to reference the Bible later.
Mrs. P
ANOTHER QUESTION: Okay, so Randi asked about repeating endnotes if it's from the same source and within the same section. The only thing is, I don't know how to get it to repeat the little "4". It automatically gives me the little 5. What do I do?
Kay lo,
You don't want to repeat the endnote. This is a question for you to bring to me tomorrow. I don't think I can explain this without our looking at it together. Just keep going and make a note of this question.
Mrs. P
yes i know it a monday night, but i JUST now remembered something i needed to ask you.
DO we have to turn in the endnotes wiht our draft tomorrow? ARE they like..part of it?!?!? GASP GASP GASP!!!!!!!!!!
