Students,
Just thinking of some last-minute reminders for you:
Be sure you double-space your paper and follow the instructions for indenting your paragraphs and any longer quotes.
You must have at least six endnotes.
No first-person.
Be interesting! :)
Follow the instructions for presenting your paper, both your written (folder) and oral presentation.

Its Monday! Hope your having a great ime in New Orleans! ...or had!!
Im so afraid i am going to forget something!
On the endnotes, We have to put that little number beside it in our paper right..well, i cant figure out how to get it in there?? Any suggestions?
And im sooooo sorry its Monday! Its been a hecitic week!
Josiah,
Scroll down! The journal entries are posted!
Anonymous,
I'm guessing this is Holly? Holly, did you read the post "Endnotes are Easy"? That tells you how to get the endnotes on there. If you still can't figure it out, you'll have to write the numbers in by hand.
Randi, same goes for you. If you can't get your computer to cooperate, just write it in by hand after you print it off.
Mrs. P
on my draft, my footnote symbols turned into roman numerals. is it suppose to be that way?
Hi Mrs.Powell!
I sent a thank-you note to Dr.Summey! I hope you had a great trip! (sorry about the overflow of exclamation marks)
Yay! Mrs. P is back! :)
hope you had a good trip!
see everyone tomorrow God willing! :)
thank you!
yes it is Holly. im not posting as anonymous though. I hit the url thigie, it always puts me as anonymous though.
One more day of the research paper left! :D
"To be able to interpret songs, sermons, prayers, Sunday school classes, marriage classes --everything the church has to offer-- is a blessing to the interpreter and the others around her."
is this what you meant by double dash?
do you also want the draft to the outline??
do we need to double space the outline?
did you not want the actual interviews? like printed?
Mrs. P, when we are reading our Maxwells tomorrow, when we come across a new section, do we say "Number 7: Conclusion", or "A Day In The Life", or just keep reading? What do we do???
in the journal entry " what are 3 questions you would ask you top 10 people to interview" were we suppose to say if we had a band, have 3 questions for each individual person in that band? random thought. lol
Mrs P, I made my own unique interview questions. Am I right in saying that you do NOT want these included in the folder?
Wait a minute! For those who didn't use their cards, where would they put them in their folder?
LOL! Randi, you and I are keeping Mrs P on her toes! This is hilarious! We must've set a record for most posts in 2 hours or something!! I hope she can answer all the Qs we tossed at her!!!!
Randi Rae,
(1) If they are Roman numerals, that is okay.
(2) Yes, that is what I meant by a double dash.
(3) I only want the final outline. (4) Your outline does not have to be double-spaced. It is okay if it is.
(5) I do not want the actual interviews.
(6) No, band as a whole is fine, unless you listed each member of the band separately.
LoVizzle,
(1) Yes, please read it just like that. You may go first. :)LOL.
(2) I do not want those interview questions.
(3) If you have a little business card holder on the inside left pocket, put it there. If not, paperclip your ticket to the grading sheet.
Mrs. P
How 'bout that?
Mrs. P
WOW! I think Mrs. P just had an overload of questions this afternoon! It'll take her forever to answer all of these!
are there 7 journal entries since the last turn in?
that was awesome Mrs. Powell!! bravo!!! Lovizzle, we have sooo set the record. and i dont even think im done ! lol and your questions sooo help! lol see you tomorrow!
Absolutely beautiful, Mrs P. (clap clap clap).
Woo-hoo! Ah-ha! Oh yeah! yeah! yeah! It's over! It's over! It's over! yeah! yeah!
(that was my happy song) :)
Mrs P, I'm not sure the motivation behind this weeks assignment is strong enough. It seems to me that I could write "Restaurat managers have the coolest career ever!!!" and be done this week. I think we should get extra credit for having the 1st and 2nd funniest bumber stickers in the class.
LoVizzle,
How is that original? Nooooo, I do not think you could write that and think that you were done! :) Personally, I think this week's assignment is pretty challenging.
Extra Credit? Uhmmm...no.
Mrs. P
Well, all a guy can do is try, right?
LoVizzle, unfortunately it's hopeless. Yesterday I tried to convince her to give us extra credit for the bumper stickers, but it didn't work. Hate to disappoint ya.
It's not like I NEED extra credit, I just really WANT it!
Lol, sounds like me. I try to get extra credit any time I can possibly squeeze it outta Mrs. P. I'm not really a risk taker.
